I gotta question , looking to buy a new radiator does any body know if a j swapped EG will have enough room for a full sized aluminum rad .? kinda like using a integra rad. in a EG with a b series swap. instead of a EG half rad. my boy thinks a RSX rad. would fit and that it wont bother the alt.? IDK ??

It seemed a little too close for comfort for me to run a full core so i went with an aftermarket half core but sitting in traffic sometimes in the middle of summer would heat soak off the headers so now i am going with a chasebays tuck radiator setup.

little scary to run a full rad too close to headers for sure

Got to the store and combo packs. I am using theblackworks rad & 14" fan with no issues at all what so ever. On track or in traffic. Great price

Hey woly are you using the egj1 or egj2 mounts. I noticed with my egj2 there is less room. I guess where the engine sits lower and is tilted a lil more. Im looking for a setup as well.

EGJ1 mounts. Still have 3 to 4 inches of room so with the new EGJ2's you shoulbe fine. I used the single core EG to mock up where to put the radiator.
the Half sized rad is just a litle thicker and solid all the way down. the 14" fan/shroud assy is thinner which gave me more clearance as well. the stock fan shroud hit even with the single core rad.

Del Sol VTEC dual core with stock fan/shroud. Works perfect. Even on 100* days. Plus it's factory. Just relocated to the drivers side.

Same hose size as the J series. Use factory J series hoses, just shorten them a few inches. Looks like stock....I used a Koyo stock replacement radiator.
