codes 1259 and 1607??

Not sure where to start. just got my swap done and went on the first test drive. babying it. reved to about 5000 rpm then hit limp mode. code 1259 and 1607 came up looked up both codes but not sure which one will cause my limp mode issue. Don at rpm has done all my wiring so i know its right. anyone else ran into these codes?

i know the 1607 is a common code but the 1259 im not sure of.

1259 is a vtec malfunction code. What is your set-up?

Oh and I believe the 1607 is because of the immobilizer? Get one of Don's replacement boards to take care of that!

i know about the 1607 thanks and ive talked with don about the replacement chip.

my set-up is the following:
2004 accord trans
2003 auto tl type-s j32a2
dons full harness. (plug and play)
2003 tl non type-s ecu
vafc-II (not sure of settings still working on it and need some help.)
hasport mounts and axles
fresh oil change and new filter.

Yeah I'm afraid theres not much you can do until Don or somebody unlocks the auto ecu's. I'm in the same boat.

check if your vtec solenoid work or the oil pressure switch is working it will throw that code if both of them are not working and the car should rev out to 5800 - 6300 rpm.

Not sure what i did but after all tests and coming to the conclusion that the ecu was bad. (after following honda T/S tree). put it all back together and it works great? Its got me puzzled! Vtec works great now.
