I'm not familiar with this brake swap, and I'm also not very familiar with the brake setup on your Teg - but if it's anything like the Civic (which I have delt with brake swaps on) your in for more than just a rotor swap to make it work.
The RL calipers bolt dirrectly to the knuckles and the bolts run at relatively a 90 degree angle to the axles, whereas the Teg brakes attach to the knuckle with a bracket and the bolts for the bracket to the knuckle, and the caliper to the bracket, run parrallel to the axles.
I'd like to see more info on this though.

I did a lot of research on this set for my civic.
Makeing the bracket to hold the RL caliper is the easy part, finding the right rotor is a whole new story.
There is someone on other sites who says he can make this set up for you....for a price, but on the other hand, for what i read on his site's, hes late on delivery, parts are missing ect.
And from what i have seen on his swaps, the rotor's are way to small.
See, the 05 RL uses a 300mm by 28mm rotor.....thats no joke.
For my set up, the only thing i could find is the ITR Spoon Sports rotor's, its 300mm by 26mm.
I dont know if you have a 4 or 5 lug set up, but if you run with is, you might have to redrill the rotors just for your lug pattern.
I have looked for about 3 to 4 months for the right rotor.
I even looked at the 2 piece rotor, but then you have to consider the hat, rotor size, and surface contact for the brake pad.
Found nothing, or the people who were selling it had no clue on the size of there rotors.
Another rotor i was looking at was the DC5 ITR, but i cant fint the size for the rotor, it might also fit, but i cant anything on it.
And to keep something in the back of your head, running with this set up would mean 17 and up rims.
Thats something else why this never caught on, everyone wants to run with 15 rims.

You don't have to go HUGE to increase your braking power.
There are some guys on HT running Acura Legend callipers with Prelude rotors and this is a big improvement. From what I can remember the callipers are a bolt on fit and the Prelude rotors have to be re-drilled to the correct bolt pattern. Look into it, might do the job for you with 1/4 of the hassle.

Currently using this setup on mine. Plenty of brakes . would also recommend getting some stainless braded lines as well. the lines take some of the sponge out ofthe pedal.

hello to all as im relatively new to HT! im doing a j32a2 swap into my 98 civic ex coupe... when i finish putting my motor together with my oem goodies im expecting at least 290-300 whp conservatively... and my oem brakes will not do im sure of it... i want to convert to five lug and continue my quest in being a lil different and still as oem as possible... i was looking in to running the acura legend calipers and rotors (cause theyre dual piston) and 11.8 rotors! and keep the 5x114.3 lug pattern. but i really want to try and get my hands on the new rl calipers that brake expert made! due to me running 32mm axles from hasport instead of 36mm... how do i go about starting this build... can i run usdm hubs, replacement ex bearings, prelude 23t flange and still keep the rest of the parts form my car? i have tried to search multiple forums for an answer but noone seems to have any definite clarification since im running a j32a2 swap... so please any useful tips and step by step instructions or links would be amazing also... please ask me questions in case i left anything major out.... also where is a good place to find a good prop valve and MC? what size and where thanks so much guys!
ive read the article from the banned brake expert about upgrading to the new acura rl rotors and calipers... the mighty 12.6 inch rotors... would there be any practical reason that i could use such stopping power running around the 300 whp mark on a daily driver. im not wanting to race this car just a fun out in town toy to go with my touareg.... i know they would be awesome but is there a way to get those rotors to fit a 5x114.3... and
one more question! would it be possible to run a full set of oem ap2 s2000 wheels... or would the 8.5's in the rear be too much for the civic... and yes before anyone tells me already i know the new rl calipers are huge but they are pretty and the 8.5's are ridiculous for a civic in the rear but i would like to just see if it could be done or are they just simply entirely too wide.? thanks again
