Btw I love ur hood splat, I saw ur thread a while back.... Atleast I think that was urs. Looks raw as hell. I'm gonna be getting a couple Ef hoods and start to mock it up. I'm a HUGE muscle car fan and always have been and I'm gonna make a cowl induction hood... Well something like that lol.

My brother is thinking like you.

Now his hood is not done yet, but this should give you a good idea.

What does it take to do this swap with the hood closed?

MY girlfriend is dying for a J swap and she has a 2000 EX coupe.

I have a really good connection for these engines so i am trying to do it to where the hood will close and the car will be sleeper.

well hasport makes mounts that would make the engine sit lower, and you could close the hood just fine.... BUT, your oil pan will literally be sitting inches of the ground...

hasport mount will not make you hood close if you are still using the j32a2 intake manifold system . u will also need a 04 or newer intake from a TL or Accord . And yes you still have a problem with the oil pan and exhaust.

When using the lower mounting position we are able to use the J32A intake manifold and close the hood. What is touching on your car's hood?
