Just a few pics of what's to come... and yea it's a 2003 Acura CL Type-S J32A2 like some others here. It's basically stock and I plan to keep a/c & p/s. I got the engine with all of it's accessories.

I'm not lucky, I'm just blessed to know people that know sources. We had to do a lot of research but as you can see... it was worth it.

Thanks guy. We took out the abs system and converted to basic rs brake system to have a nice amount of clearance. We're still working on getting more space. I'm running both ps and a/c and that is definitely the stock alternator.

Thanks guys. Yes I do have updated pics and I will post as soon as I get a chance. We recently installed the shift linkage, cut the hood and installed the exhaust. We got the immobilizer but basically the electrical we're leaving for last being that we barely have time to work on it because I'm not around as much in the shop except weekends. Anyways, pics will be up soon. Keep nagging me so I don't forget lol.

Thank you and no (-_-) I'm not completely done yet. College got in the way.
did you have to trim the frame for that to slide in?
No. All I did was drilled thru the tac welds that hold the original motor mount. The closest I did to trimming was cutting the hole on the hood.

Ok new problem. I got my car back up and running but now the problem is 3rd and 4th gear grind at high rpms.
So for it not to grind I have to push the clutch in and wait for the rpms to go down and only then push in softly so it won't grind.... but it's getting on my nerves doing that. I can't even downshift to 3rd either which takes the fun out of driving it.
We think it could be either the syncros or the shift linkage. We even put Amsoil M/T Tranny fluid to see if it helped but nothing. I spoke to someone else that had the same problem and they said they paid 350 to replace the syncros.
Has anyone experienced this yet?

this is a quote from "jproy" on v6p.
Don't know if he's right......
5. The only transmission fluid to run in this trany is the General Motors Friction Modified fluid. That’s right, I said GM actually makes a part(fluid) that is better than Honda. The Honda fluid is junk, both the new synthetic and old Honda fluid, and will allow the gears to grind. The GM stuff is so good it makes the trans feel like a whole different new unit. I have 113K on my car now and myself and others have nothing but praise for the GM friction modified fluid. Most of the S2000 guys who know what they are doing use it to.
I use GM Synchromesh in my cars, and it did "fix" a slight grind I had in my old GS-R, but it sounds like you need new synchros.

im also from the island i know the owner of ultimate transmission over by knockout the gentlemen night club in deer park and he told me to check the tranny fluid if is clean then is the syncro he said is 200 labor plus the syncro and you have to bring him the tranny. I have the same problem but only on 3rd gear I guess these trannys are known by that even with the new clutch is doing the grinding
