need help with this i got the motor and it didnt come with this plug/ wire

where does this plug lead to the negative or positive? my motor didnt come with this plug so that would mean my battery will not charge any help on this? could it be made custom? :confused:

just about all the J's came with this style Alt. So go to the wreckers and getthe pig-tail green in color from similar year (connector part) and just match up your wires. solder and heat shrink and you should be good to go.

but the problem it i dont have any loose wires on my engine harness

That wire is a positive lead that runs to your civic fusebox..
I ran mine through the harness, since I am running a tucked fusebox behind the dash.
If your fusebox is still in the bay, just run it straight there.

this is the my problem, should there be something that gets bolted on to that 10mm? i dont have any loose wires or nothing.

thats where your power wire goes you have to make one from scratch it goes to your fuse panel

My starter wire is going to the positive fuse panel should I just join it together? Thanks guys what I really wanted to know is what terminal it goes to

No.. The starter is getting a + signal from the battery...
The alternator is sending a + signal to the fusebox (charging your battery)
Just run them seperate, there is 2 spots in the fusebox, one from the battery, one from the alt.

Iwas looking at the wrong plug (a bad day at work). This wire is seperate from the J harness from the factory. you could by new or used and it will work perfectly. ask for the Alt charge wire.

4 guage should be ok thats what im running

NO, it really needs to be as large or larger than the factory wire. with the amount of elec,. runing through this cable a small gauge wire will melt easily under load.
