Anyone has any thoughts on this? 94-97 accord - 4 cylinder chassis. what kind of work would be needed to drop in the J?

So helpful...

I think this is very doable. That generation did come with a 2.7L V6, but models had extended noses to create more space for the larger engine. It will be a tight squeeze, but what J Swap into a 4 Cyl chassis isn't?

Depending on the Accord chassis, maybe you can use modified HASport mounts? I doubt the 2.7L and 3.2L share the same size mount points, but it's worth looking into. I'm not sure if the V6 Accords were cable shifted at that time either.

Your Accord with a J32 would be bad ass. I havn't looked, but you may find some more advice or maybe even someone who has already done this on AZ.

i dont see there being a problem with doing the swap . the 98 accord came with the first j motor j30a1 dizzy setup . the front engine bay is not different between the the f22 to the j30a other than mounts and some wiring. so it is more than possible to do that swap in a 94-97 cb

interesting... im going to see if can pick up some stock cl-s mounts and see if i can do some sizing...

do you think i can use my hasport h mounts with custom brackets? also, would we need a v6 subframe?

thanks don...

don't know if the cradle will fit or come close. your best bet is to use a combination of mounts for the drivers & passenger side use the hasport j mount . the rear mount use a hasport h mount , for the frame rail. you will have to make you own read dog bone for between the rear frame rail and the mounting points of the block. if you look at the thread when i did that auto j , you will see the the rear mount how i made it.
