I started posting this as a reply to a different thread and started thinking I should just start a new thread and give every one somethig to talk about.
Let's talk custom colors. Let's not forget about the how to's though. I'm sure there's lots of tips out there. I'm about to paint my first car myself. ( the right way ) I'll be learning everything I can. Base coats, reducers, the right primer for the job....I'm not really to into full show cars or gay body kits. Just good looking vehicles, and Doing everything myself. I'm sure you all got your cars posted on the car pics page, but feel free to post it again here if it has something to do with a custom color or if you did the paint job yourself. Any paint questions are welcome. I'm sure some one knows the answer.
My cars got all the glass, rubber, doors, interior... Missing. Hope no one Copys me, but I think I'm going to order the 2010 mustang blue. I've been very puzzled lately because there's many good colors. Then it's pearlesent, flake, or metalic. How metalic? How pearlesnt? How big of flakes? I figure this takes all the cunfusion out of it. I love beating mustangs but pulling up to a 2010 cobra, with the exact same color and a Honda "big block" sticking out of the hood and then walking him, would be the altimate! If you haven't seen it, it's almost a baby blue but dark enough to look good.
