 I'm just wondering why the j35a5 from the 2003-2006 (260hp in 2003 moldel, 265hp in 2004-2006) isn't more popular to swap. I was lookin at some of the specs and the a5 seems better torque and highend. I thought maby it was more of a difficult swap or the 6spds don't lign up.... Or anything. I didn't see any info on the forum about the a5's. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

What is dbw exactly? And I think it's because the a5 isn't interchangeable with the other j parts.... Maby...

read up on the section j32a3 is it worth it . it explains about the DBW system. i have been working on a answer for the guys that what to use the motor with the stock electronic . we are about 85% there i will have a guy coming in April to do his DBW system. then i will have the all the answers for you guys. but till then you might what to use a missing tooth system on that motor with a standalone ecu to run things .

Ok, I'll read that right now. Thanks don. I wasn't sure if it was just the dbw system that was holding people back from this swap or if it is because the type s heads and intake don't fit. But I'm definatly gonna read that thread and research some more on the j35a5
