I have the opportunity to become a dealer for the company who makes the immobilizer bypass chips. These are a replacement chip that is soldered in where the immobilizer board used to be. It's purpose is to get rid of the immobilizer codes that are generated when the immobilizer board is removed. I can also offer the service of desoldering the immobilizer board and soldering in the replacement if you send your ECU to me for modification. I was just wondering if anyone was interested in purchasing one of these. If we get some interest, I will become a vendor on this site and officially offer this product and my service. Thanks in advance guys.

If they were reasonably priced, I would for sure be interested.

don already makes them

I'm almost sure he uses the same ones. I will be stocking them for people who don't want to wait 2 weeks to receive them. I will be able to offer about a 1 day turn around. The immobilizer chips are not the main focus in this venture, so I'm not out to take anyone's business. I just figured I'd offer the members of this site a reasonably priced/timed service with something they may not want to attempt themselves.

For the units I'm going to say about $70-80. To have me install it will be about $100ish+shipping your ECU to me (unit included in price), I will ship back for free. I'll have final prices tomorrow.

Like I said, prices will be finalized tomorrow, I just figured I'd order a few of these in addition to other items I was already purchasing, thinking I could help a few people on here out. I assure you my pricing will very little more than I pay and will be less than what someone would pay from the source. And I will have no wait time. I can't comment on your claims of his pricing, but I get that you are a strong advocate for RPM Systems and won't be interested.

I just ordered 2 of these. If anyone wants one let me know and I'll try to get you a discounted price because I have done business with the supplier (Doctronics) in the past. I'll try to do more for the forum, but twistedimage you have to understand I'm a full time student and I can only devote so much time to this hobby. I don't own a shop or anything of that nature. I am quite knowledgeable about AN plumbing and custom wiring though, so feel free to ask me any questions on that.

Doctronics is part of PGMFI.org which i am a part of too. people on the site came up with the design like back in 97. and the difference is i build and cut my own boards . but competition is good for the market place.

Wow, had no idea you produced them. And I've done plenty of business with Christian in the past, he's a very knowledgeable guy. His new plug and play K series ECU's are awesome, and I've been talking to him about a similar solution for the J. That's impressive though man, wish I had known that to begin with. I have to go on pgmfi more often.
