I have a j32 Iam doing and don't have a the control box, I was wondering how much low end I would lose from not having the butterflys? Would it throw a code or go I'm limpmode?

so you just remove them and then weld up the hole so you dont have any leaks?

do you just remove the butterflys and keep the bridge part that has part of the gasket/seal for the plenum cover?
