TL transmission

Ok, I have a question about TL transmissions. Lets stick with an 05 TL transmission for this discussion.

I just read the transmission talk sticky, and I'm unsure if both TL and TL-s transmissions have LSD..

Based on further posts in the sticky thread it seems that there was no type-s model, but I am a bit confused.



Anyone have any insight, sorry for a somewhat dumb thread, just feel like there is a bit of confusion. Thanks

to my knowledge the type-s was the only package that came in 6speed lsd i got my tranny from a 2004 tl-s

OK, I am looking to purchase an 05 TL trans, it is a 6 speed.

But it does not say if it is a type-s or not, just trying to get my information straight before I go to get it.

Pretty sure the only non-lsd is the accord transmissions... Whoever you buy it from ask them to look for you to double confirm ;)

I was thinking the same, that only accords were non-lsd.

I asked the salvage yard that has it and they didn't know.

Some salvage yards put their engines and transmissions on shelves. Ask if they do and if so tell them to walk their lazy asses out and look through the dif lol.

Weren't all CL and TL with a six speed trans type-s anyway? And all type-s 6speed came with factory lsd right? So that would mean the only 6speed manual without lsd would be accord like u guys said. But I agree with Hondaboy tell them to take there lazy ass out back and check the diff if your gonna buy it or if its local have them take YOU back to confirm for yourself. I kno all the salvage yards here will do that if you ask

To my knowledge all 4 doors are lsd and the 2004 to 2006 are non types and they did came 6 speed the non type s only 2007 and 2008 came type s,the same way the gsr tranny from 2 doors are non lsd and all the gsr 4 doors came with the lsd from factory
