you can use a number of ecus... 99tl 99-00 odyssey or same year as your motor... Just let the guy thats doing your harness know what motor/ecu you are running and you should be alright. Who is doing your harness and removing the immobilizer?

interesting... the setup i am actually going to be running is an '03 TL-S auto longblock, harness, and ecu with an '03 accord tranny. Anything special i would need to do with that setup wiring wise?

tranny has all the sensors on it that an accord tranny should... the 3.2 has 2 throttle bodies... i assumed the outside one was simply traction control and can be removed... I just sent my 2 vss's into hybrid racing to see if they can make a speed converter.

As far I I know.
The scl-s uses a crank sensor in the clutch housing.

The immobilizer is in your ecu and corresponds with your i guess you could call it digital key set. If you dont have the right key that has been programmed for your specific ecu then the car wont start. Its a theft deterrent for newer cars. Anyways for our cars to save with a bunch of hassle it can be removed from the ecu so you can use the keys for your car you are using now.

Hey Guys,

My question here is...

Say your using the J32a2 engine combo with the matching transmission. (M/T)

Will there be a benefit or hinderance by using the J32a1 ECM (2001 Acura TL)

37820 P8E A54

I am assuming the full power potential of the engine wont be realized by using this ECM.

What do you guys think on this?

Lower revilimiter, smaller feul map, little extra work but very doable
