Just finished my car running J32A with custom Garrett GT35R. Will try to tune and get it to run right with injectors mounted onto intercooler piping. Car fired up and runs good. I am running a full size radiator with two slim fans, and kept my power steering. This will be the second swap I did. First one all motor, and it is stupid ass fast. Will see how this one do.

This is the 12" Wilwood Kit with 4 pistons per caliper, but later wil switch to oem 2005 RL brake kit. The RL is alot bigger.

We have to talk more about this RL kit you want to use.

what exhaust mani are you running? Did it require modification? How are you planning on routing the air to the TB...?

interested to see what kind of power this makes, looks awesome
Killer setup! Is this gonna be a drag car, or just a wicked street machine?

I am running the APEXI WORLD SPORT 2, It's very nice and quiet and deep sounding. The air system will go right over the turbo and down thru the little hole where the washer fluid reservoir. Must trim and expand the hole for the pipe to fit thru. Here are some pics. Will uplaod from top view later on because I am not working today.

it's prabably going to be little of both. But mostly for advertising for my shop.

both exhaust manifolds are stock, with custom cut and weld. Supposively bought the kit for j30a accord kit by xspower but nothing come close to fit. So i kept both manifolds stock and cut and weld all the pieces including the downpipe. Will upload pics later..

MF2 Mappable Injector Driver, This is what I will be using to add fuel to the boost without touching oem ecu. Dual injectors 450cc X 2. According the manual it's pretty simple to work with and tunable. More details can be obtained here.
http://www.aquamist.co.uk/cp/mf2/mf2.html
Unit cost about $300. This kit usually comes with Turbonetics kit, this is how I got it.

i have used the system . i didn't like that you feed the system with two injectors , instead of connecting to the stock injectors and changing the Pule and moderation. with the price you are spending around 350 or so , just my option , the AEM f i/c 30-1910 controller might be a better bet . you can make it plug and play without messing with the stock ecu. the F I/C also allow you to voltage clamp the stock map for boost . so when you go above 0.3 psi you dont get fuel cut . now i know you can use a missing link for that , but again the F I/C has a 2.5 bar map built in. now when you go 8 psi or better the stock map will see 0.3 while the the FIC map see the 8 psi . other features retard timing , control vtec, boost , real time programming. just look into it and see what i'm talking about , before you make a choice.

Here are some pics of the charge pipes routing. Some of you want to see how it's being routed. I still need to test and hook up the MF2. My shop is a little busy this week so I work on it when we're slow. Sorry sometime it takes a little longer to update but the bills always come first.

Looks great!!!
I will be trying to turbo my J as well - and am wondering how you feel about the additional injectors being used with our crazy intake manifold design? I know when I pulled mine apart the pcv setup allowed significant amounts of oil to puddle in the manifold. Our only option really is the additional injectors where you have them located, but do you think the fuel could puddle in a similar way? Hopefully since they probably only come on during boost where the velocity is high in the manifold the fuel shouldn't puddle. And, what little amount that might will simply evaporate quickly? I'm no expert, just wondering if this will cause any weird issues? Thanks - keep up the good work!

Yeah that's true it is easier that but I already have all these stuff and would like to use it rather than buy a new setup. It's also giving it more time to cool the air temp due long pipe traveling.

Your statement is very true that injectors will only activate when in boost. The air will travel so fast that it won't give a it a chance puddled or creat a residue. Gasoline is lighter than oil and will evap quickly.

The vehicle runs fine but I have switched to AEM FIC 1910 but the unit is not working the way it supposed to, send it back to AEM and they tested saying it's fine but not. It ran OK with with 9 PSI boosted. I'm going to get another one and try it. Haven't had time to work on it besides customer. Anymore updates will let you know.

sweet build!!!! what radiator are you using?? how close is it to say the alternator? and the front headers?
teamdigitalsound
07-10-2010, 10:12 PM
The Radiator is a full size from a 2004 Honda Acoord V6, the clearance is pretty close. I was able to run two slim fans but needs to cut or trim off a lower radiator support in order to fit. I'm thinking putting the AC back on. But we'll see.

what do you mean? problems tunning or get the unit setup for the car?

What i mean is that the aem maf/map is not functioning from the aem itself. When cut and intercept the map from the vehicle immediately throw map sensor code and vehicle will not stay running also the clamping voltage is not working. So i did not use it instead try out the map check valve adapter and runs fine. And when hook up cam1 and cam2 also throw a check code. I end up using only the crank and runs fine.
RPM SYSTEMS

the map wire is a pass thought system . just like a safc controller . the volt clamp setting is 3.79 . if you try to adjust the timing thought the cam sensor the car will go into limp mode. if you mess with the voltage on the ECT you can control the timing curve.

Weird set up with extra injectors, why not go bigger injectors from the start, I fit injector dynamics 725's with minimal machining to intake, a P2V fuel rails.

Injectors are there but not use. The injectors currently installed are RDX 440cc OEM.

Here is what I mention earlier about the big brake that I 've plan to install on my civic. It is from a 2005 RL with a whopping 12.60" rotor with a giant 4 piston caliper. It is recommended that you use 18" wheels. What is in the pics is 17" I manage to squeeze it in for the size with lots of modifications. I had the wilwood 12.20" with 4 piston caliper but this oem is alot bigger, besides I like OEM stuff.

by the looks of it, it's not going to work becuase of the HUB, I still retain my factory ones which is 4x100 and the accord it's got the inner rotor trim off.
