Is anyone heard of or know how to make the mph work on the civic or integra chassis_ if so, please let us know. Ideas would be good too.

what ecu are you using j32 or j35 ?

on the j32a2 manual ecu to 92-95 honda ecu

E26 vssout = 10B vss

on the j35a2 auto ecu to 92 -95 honda ecu

A9 vssout = 10B vss

that will give you a MPH on the dash....if you are running 15 inch rims ...you'll be off by 10 mph. the tranny was set for a 17 inch rim

In theory couldn't you take the ECU to a Honda dealer and have them change the wheel size on their programmer? Then it would be fixed.

@ V6Phil, could you get the thermometer from the car the cluster came from? Because to me it would get bothersome to have that reading lines all the time.

I remember hearing from one of my dealerships tech guys, I work at a Honda Dealer, that you can change the wheel and tire size on newer engines ECU's. Like I know for a fact that on the Fit when you change the wheel or tire size you will have to go into the ECU and change that so the speedometer will remain correct in its reading.

True, but the fit ECU and my 03 CL-s ECU have very little in common. All about which ECU your using. 07 and newer TL maybe. Not a whole lot of people using DBW with these swaps. But yes you are correct you can change the wheel size on a fit. If the Fit ECU would run my J then we're good to go. Would be nice though, just to be able to go in rewrite take stuff out as needed. This will come in time too, just like Chrome, hondata, Aem etc..... We'll get our grubby little hands on it sooner or later.

Srcrew the original speedo just get a drift box. It has speed, G forces, time to distance 1/4 mile etc, 0-60, 60' time, top speed, drift angle, lap timer, and data logger. what more do you need. Oh and its accurate to +/- .1kmh
.25 degrees on drift angle for $750.00 or performance box no drift angle for $527.00
