Forum update

Well guys sorry if it seems like i've been slacking a bit. Mechanical Engineering has been consuming most of my time especial with this week being finals. I am going to have about 3 weeks off from school after this week and during that time i am planning on cleaning the forum up a bit along with adding new sections etc. Any suggestions or ideas you may have feel free to post. Also I know a lot of you guys are wanting stickers and i appreciate you all wanting to support the site. I am trying to keep you guys as up to date as I am. At this point it is in the designers hands and I'm just waiting to get some things back from them.

Well idk about everyone else but maybe makin the quik reply option usable without having to quote sumone?

^^ i just recently discovered what it meant to hit the quick reply button up top before trying to quick reply.

Seems like a useless step, wouldn't mind getting rid of it.

I think the design of the original stickers was fine. simple and straight to the point.

I agree more sub catagories would be good. Maybe a N/A and FI section to go along with the general tech. A tuning section for dyno numbers, charts and tuning options would be nice. A FAQ section might help eliminate a lot of redundent questions/threads. And making stickys for the compiled engine, blocks and head specs, cam specs, trans info and anything else that I may have missed

yeah i aggree have that box on the bottom open so you can just type into it?.

I love wat you've done with the place! Get a nice throw rug and it'll really bring it together quite nicely. Lol but really all the new additions are great it should make it a lot easier when lookin for specific things.

Still looking into the quick post problem. I think it's a software issue and i will need to find a patch. The idea was to get things way more organized. I tried to utilize the idea of subforums. Hopefully a repetition of questions will lessen.

maybe a fb account. so if we have a simple question or a problem we ask on their, bc im on fb more than on here when im at work. so someone posting a question on their will notify me and i can respond to them within minutes than not knowing when they post it on here

I've thought about that but don't know if i have that kind of time at the moment. For now i'd prefer to keep it to pm's if anyone has any problems or questions.
