has anyone used the auto tranny from the j30 or the j35 in a 92-95 civic yet?

its easy to find a j30 or 35 with a auto tranny from the early 99 accords and odysseys. this is what i want to use.

if im not mistaking all of the v6 accords were automatic until the j30a4 came out in 03 with a 6spd.

the automatics are garbage they have a hard time supporting stock hp, it will be alot cheaper in the long run to just purchase a 6spd for the swap

its possible my swap was auto 5spd then i went to 6spd when i added the turbo,
i also got my motor with the tranny still bolted to it with the harness for $500 so thats y i kept the auto for awhile, oh yea its a 04 j30a4

What trans are you running? What EM? Did you do your own wiring?

want some info on what diffs there are for auto swaps vs 6 speed

so why cant you use the j30 harness wire it in to the j30 computer and be good?

are the j30 engine wire harness not seprate from the chassis harness?

how much ground clearence is on that auto j-swap? the reason i became interested in hasports kit was just bc the pan sits nearly stock height. and hoods are lame anyway :P
