hey whats up the names clark just got a j32a1 and need info. i am new to the j but have built a ls and dohc zc also got a g23 awd in the works
What would i need in order to swap it in my da? axels wiring transmission mounts? i know no one makes a kit if anything i have a crx shell i could put it in but prefer my integra.
i hear that i could put a 3.5 internals in the 3.2 with out any modifications?

most of the guys with integras are using the eg mounts with a lil modification i believe
you can use the crank and rods out of an oddyssey engine but you have to use rl pistons
and answers to everything you are asking are all over this site you just gotta do a little reading
oh but for the wiring i reccomend going with the jumper harnesses DON from RPM SYSTEMS on here makes its a good price and he really knows his shit

yeah spent the last few hours reading threads alot to take in.
another question i had is what makes the type s motor more powerful then the base is it the cames head design pistons ect? i was reading a thread where i could actually put j37 internals in with boring the block. when i had looked at the j32 i got i seen a j37 sitting there along with the j35 i could get it for a very good price and part everything else out just to get the internals. that would make it about the same as the type s or better right?
is 850 for the type s lsd a good price. and could i run megasquirt 2 on it cause i have one from my old ls swap
thanks for any other help i am gonna continue researching the site

i know the heads and intake manifold are different between the base model and type s im assuming the internals in the bottom end are aswell but i am not totally sure bout that
as far as the j37 internals i am not certain about. i have heard that you can do it in a j32a3 with no modification i think which is one of the tl engines i believe but like i said i am not sure. however there is a thread on v6performance.net that a guy had put the j37 internals into a j32 but he had to do some crazy machine work to make it work and i dont think the dyno numbers were really worth all the crap you had to do but again i dont remember for sure
and i know nothing about what megasquirt is so i cant help you there
and i would think that is not a good price on an lsd seeing how you can get a brand new one from acuraoemparts.com for 20 dollars more i think its $870 and some change. unless your talking about the whole transmission with an lsd in it then yes it is a good price

hell yeah hes got three but two are non lsd transmissions i think.
well i read that whole j37 thread wow lotta good info. the problem i seen with his numbers is a ecu that wasnt tuned for his setup exhaust and intake did not seem to be optimal with the added displacement and enough air being pulled so that could be robbing alot of power. with the vtec heads and better cams he should be pull some better numbers.
worth a shot in the future but i just need to worry about getting it in the car and running i can always pull it out later. would a higher compression help with it and maybe some itbs.
ill need a whole rl wiring harness to make the swap easier from what i read someone say?

im not sure what you are talking about as far as the rl harness goes i dont know anybody that uses that harness. the harness you need is going to depend on whether or not your engine came out of an automatic car or manual car

i went to the local pick a part and found a wrecked mdx and its awd. is it possible to swap the whole drivetrain only prob is its auto. not gonna do it but just wann know? cause that would be a mad sleeper with 3.7 internals.

anything is possible with the right amount of money and patience lol

only if they made a manual awd trans lol. finding the right trans is the hardest part the motor was cake to find.
i am gonna try to run my meagasquirt 2 ecu on it once i get it in and running off the stock ecu and 1000 miles to make sure its all runnin good.
