Is that for a drop in, or does anything else need to be changed.

If it is like the EGJ kit then you have to drill two small holes in the frame. Other than that , yes drop in.

They might be able to swap the two kits out with just shipping cost to you. Would be worth asking.

all those setups are custom mounts or custom alterations to the Hasports...

i was told that using the hasport ekj1 mounts you have to swap out the subframe for a eg/dc subframe, is this true?

you dont have to swap out the rear cross member. you have to make a small cut in the cross member between the rear mount and the drivers side of the car. 2 1/2 inches wide . 1/4 inch deep.

not anymore! Hasport makes two kits now... the ekj1 and the ekj2. the ekj1 requires you cute a huge hole in your hood for the intake and cover to stick out of the top and the benefit to this is GROUND CLEARANCE!!! with the ekj1 kit you can still lower your car because the oil pan will sit almost as high as your standard d-series! the ekj2 mount kit will allow the customer to place the engine at their preference to allow the stock hood to close without any modification! the only benefit is simply that! closing the hood with any cutting!!! then you sacrifice ground clearance and even with a skid plate you can damage the oil pan then there is a good chance you just blew your swap! so its a personal preference... if your stayin on the track then the ekj2 is a good deal at least with ideal tracks anyways... if your driving your beast to and from and using it as such for a badass daily driver then you'll probably want the ekj1 and either pimp a cut up hood or a custom hood. either way you can order these kits from a number of companies with the average price of $500-$550 shipped... anymore and your getting screwed and right now k20tuned is got about the best price with their lil code they posted! thanks again guys for the break!
