Hi all, still gathering parts for a j-swap in a 90 civic 4dr EF. Already have everything but the axles. Talked to DSS and they said to wait and measure the setup to make sure the axles are going to be right instead of ordering the EG axles. Going to twin turbo the set up with two gt28r's so it should be a fun build looking to make 400+ on the stock engine.

6-speed from a 03 Accord.....41000 miles
new flywheel, and Spec stage 3+ clutch
Accord shifter box and cables

Welcome, Id love to see your build. I love the EF chassis, particularly hatches.
Personally though, Id run a single turbo. You can run a GT35 and get amazing power numbers out of the stock motor.

I feel like i remember reading that the 6 spd tranny synchros really hate agressive clutches Have you looked into this already? Seems like a fun build. I know the guys at DSS they are only 20 min from me. Good people.

I think there is a cool factor with a twin turbo set up. Would indeed like to see some pics. 400 whp should be easy on stock build. API is getting 450+ with stock internals. Good Luck with your build :)

I was going to get the new Tial housing gt35r with the v-band mounting, man thats a sexy turbo, but got a good deal on the two Comp Turbo gt28r's with polished housings. Yea, not to many options on the clutch set up, aluminum flywheel / clutch setups are really exp, and got the Spec at a really good price. My tuner wants to go race gas Q16 and try for 500+, but told him we are going to take it easy at first and go from there. Had a b16 turbo set up that was pushing 370hp and blow the ring lands on #3 piston. So I sold everything, and I mean everything....over 3 years of parts...lol and jumped ship to a j-swap. I wanted something different, and not to many people have a EF 4dr that has a twin turbo j35.

harness is a universal one, going to have to splice the factory connectors to the motec harness.

Where in Texas are you located? I am in North West Louisiana... Maybe you might want to come out to a NASA event, and see one in person.
