Ok guys, i'll speak for a few of us on here that have ran into a problem with using this ecu. Don, Ben, and myself have been working very hard to solve the problems that we have ran into with using the Tl-S automatic ecu's with these swaps.
The biggest problem that we've seen is the code P1656 which means there is a problem with the PCM to VSA communication. Basically, this code is causing the computer to go into Limp Mode and only rev to about 5100rpm and no vtec. We have the cars wired to think they are in D3 and wired up the 3rd gear pressure switch. We have done all the other related wiring through the use of Don's conversion harnesses.
Has anyone else on here been able to successfully use the TL-S Automatic ecu with there swaps? If so, please chime in and elaborate what you've had to do to allow the engine to run properly.
