What sizes of wheels and tires is everyone running?

Im running 17in wheels. 205/40zr17

trying to get a general idea from everyone on here about widths of rims/tires and how that does/doesn't help with the traction issue.

had 215-45-16 and 215-40-17

size doesnt matter. If you run a cheap tire like Ziex or Maz1 or anything with like 300 + of tread wear , ist gonna Slip badly..

get a real good tire , Kuhmo Xs, starspec , RS3 . with those tire , traction is not a probleme even with a 300 WHP V6.

I assume 7in. I run M&H racemasters when I go to the drag strip. They are 23x8.5x15----It dumps the car to much for daily driving on a 15in wheel. I know the slicks sidewall has alot of give over the street tires as I run 9psi in them. Im thinking about doing a wide and skinny setup on my EJ1 with Drag Radials up front(of course). If I do that they will be 24x9x15 nitto 555r(or something similar) on the front.

I run 17x7 +36 bbs LM's on the street with 195/40/17 falken ziex912's

And at the track I run OEM type r wheels with 225/55/15 mickey thompson et street radials.
