my questions are how reliable is the j series,do they like boost or keep it n/a,how much in the long run to do the swap its self, will the cl engine harness run the same path as it is now(just pull he old out and put the cl harness in)
The J is as reliable as any other honda motor - very
Boost - that depends on you. You can get away with boost on any stock honda motor. I have Turboed 6 different Honda motor series, A's,B's,D's, F's, H's, and L's successfully and reliably. It is all in the tune and design. If you don't know what your doing don't learn on your car.
Cost - 2-4 for you, you already have a J30 right? So it's a straight drop in. But it really depends on your local prices at salvage yards.
Harness routing - I don't have a clue but I would assume so.
