I Am running a j37 crankshaft and I am having problems with the drive plate clearing the rear seal housing when installing it both with a 01 cls and a 05tl drive plate.
Anyone have this issue installing the j37 crank in a auto ?

Got it all figured up. definitly not a direct swap for auto's on the rear side if the auto guy's don't know that yet

you mean it's short? the j37 crank is shorter than the j32 and j35 cranks, so if you go to p2r website, u can buy a snot spacer for it http://powerrevracing.com/shop/product.php?id_product=131

It's short at the rear too for the auto's.
I just completed the swap today.
fully ported and polished from TB inlet right into the headers ,j37 swap with 05tl auto trans in a base cl.
Hickam,
Drive plate / flex plate
The plate between the rear of the crank and covertor.
And that need's to be shimed to clear the rear seal housing or the j37 crank will not work in auto.
I can't beleive I'm the only guy who has did a 3.7 auto swap.
