I've converted the J30A4 I put into my Civic from an auto to a manual. Then I got all these OBDII codes on my reader where the ECU was looking for signals from now unconnectable plugs on the long gone auto. So I imported a manual ECU from Canada which solved that problem - but the car's still not revving past 2,500rpm.
The diagnostics now says it can't find the throttle actuator relay, and neither can we - even though we've got workshop manuals for both trannies. There's no way I took it off the loom in the transfer over as I had the whole cAr and took EVERYTHING. A check shows the Throttle Actuator in the footwell has no power to it. I've also tried to get round the gear selector switch differences by fitting one off an Accord.
My electrical guru thinks there may be a difference between the wiring looms on the autos and manuals - remembering that it's a complete automatic loom I used out of my donor car, including the dash and to the d/s door.

I'm close to ditching the fly by wire throttle body for one off a J30A3 and importing an ECU for a manual J30A3 from America (as all J's here in Oz are auto). But before I do that - does anyone know the likely cause of my probs and a fix?

the reason no one has replied is , they dont know the DBW system you have. when the car is running is the throttle body moving , when the engine is running? another reason for problems is that you dont have the vehicle speed sensors hooked up . other problem when using the auto ecu , you need to tell the car you are in drive. give me some better details so i can put you in the right direction .
