speedo fix?

my question is for those of u who runnin ems how did u fix your speedo, i kno all my speeds by gear+rpm but still i like when everything works, lmk thnx

who built the harness ? did the person build the harness for a stock ecu to work or was it meet to work with the AEM? are your VSS sensors hooked up?

i build my own harness to work with stock ecu but later got AEM, now running that with no problems except d9, output for cluster doesnt do anything

read the pdf file that came with your AEM ecu . there a big section on the vss output.

i read that section all it says is that its suppose to work with oem cluster....:(
so i take input signal from countershaft speed sensor and hook it up to d11 nothing, if i take that wire and hook it up to d10 and use stock ecu speedo works, so my problem is ecu, any body else have that prob? fix? ideas? thnx
(i kno im using countershaft signal but mainshaft makes same type signal, so doesnt matter)

I have been messing with the aem settings for quite a while, and all I can seem to get is a sporadic speedo jump. It is extremely random..

im not there yet with my swap...but something has to be done....there a fix some. where.....with the wire connected correctly...are there any settings for vss on the aem...

There are no settings in the arm software that I have found. You have to use the main shaft sensor. If you are going to make it work. D9 signal ground. D11 input signal. You must connect the 5v power wire as well. If you didn't buy one of my harness you will need do so.

my speedos not working an the harness i have supposedly came from you at rpm systems. i bough got the swap off of P.. was jus lookin around an saw this thread was was wondering if u ya could help me out..

if you the stock ecu , the speedo on you dash does not work? who is " P " ? does it have one of my tach adapters in it ? there is a lot of people clamming they bought harness from me , so they can sell the swap easier. i just had this happen last week . i sold the swap to the local guy . he did not what to buy my harness . bought one from a competitor . well the competitor harness does not support the working speedo plus a couple of other thing that i do. well he drove the car to my shop and bitch how shitty the harness was working . he was told when he bought the car the harness was one of mine . well he got to the shop and it was not one of mine . let just say it looked like ass. the best part , he thought the cars rpms went to 8500 . so i charged him and fixed the wiring in the car . he happy and everything is working now. so if you have a question about a harness , just call me and ask if such and such ever bought a harness from me . i have everyone who ever bought a harness from me on file .

i got it from sirp from boston an im not sure if it has a tach adapter or not..
