karcept cheap but said its for rsx only im running the accord shifter and cabels

I used the Karcepts plate with EM2 box and cables. Worked great and installs just like the RSX stuff, but is way cheaper. The accord shifter box does not work with the karcepts plate.

honda mag said they used api mount and 03 accord k24 shifter box and cables.....but isnt the k24 accord a 5 speed.....??

It still works fine. My EM2 stuff is 5sp and it goes into all gears easy with room to spare on the box.

I didn't know HT used the k24 accord stuff. The v6 accord box and cables have to be used together because the cable orientation is different. The accord v6 box is flat on the bottom and the cables go straight out which is why it doesn't work with the karcepts plate.

No. The v6 and k24 accord shifter box work the same. If you have your heart set on using the accord shifter you will need to use api's or make your own. I recommend the karcepts plate and EM2 shifter. Cheap and works great without any modifications.

I recommend the hybrid racing bolt in box if you can afford it. Well worth it in my opinion.

I used a cl-s 6sp tranny with the em2 stuff. It is the same configuration as the rsx box, which is why it worked so well with the karcepts plate. Accord tranny guys would need to add the pin in the shifter arm to use it, just like with rsx stuff.
