Stock EG pump will get you going, but I would replace. Remember the J motors are twice the displacement. And most of the cars we are swapping into already several have miles on them. Cheap insurance, $100 vs. new pistons, I used a Walbro 255 and it works great.

This info ^^^^^ is correct
I am also using the Walborow 255LPH and have no problems with an Aeromotive FPR at 1:1.

NO the stock pum p will not work I just went through this prob with my car. It kept going into Limp Mode when car was under a load due to not enough fuel pressure.

With my 98 Cx i have the J35a1, and i am still running with the stock fuel pump, but after next year i will doing some work on her and that will be one of my next up grades.
But as of now, my car has been running for about 6 months with the OEM fuel pump and starts every time.

That's funny I just looked that up yesterday. Specs are with and without vac. Stock 96 civic is 36-46psi. 03 Cl-s is 44-57psi. Or dam close. I'm not on alldata now. I'm doin the ol' cl-s swap here in a few. Should be intresting.

Do you need to run an aftermarket FPR with a 255 or will the stock J32 one be ok?
