are the motor mounts for the eg the same as the motor mounts for an ex? i know its a stupid question but i have no idea and i dont wanna buy the hasport kit and not b able to use it

EF, EG, EK, DC are all the diffrent chassis codes not models if thats what you are wondering???

EF=88-91 model year civics
EG=92-95 model year civics
EK=96-00 model year civics
DC-94-01 model year integras

ex,dx,cx,lx,si,gs,ls,rs,gsr are all different models with different options!!!

EF's have their own mounts
EG's and DC's have their own mounts
EK's have their own mounts

It depends on what model year car u have. If its a 92-95 civic that you need the ejj1 or egj2 mounts...
