Would this work? I don't have a v6 block to try it on yet but do have the tranny!

I thought the NSX had a 90 degree V6.

The J series are all 60 degree. Would this not vary the bolt pattern on the bell housing?

I believe the bolt pattern is the same for both. I also have heard the NSX guys using the J32a and J35 with The NSX heads for a short block replacement. Don't know the details but it would make since to me that it would work.

The nsx houses the C-series motors, and I don't see how those head will fit on a J block.

Again, don't know the details, just what I was told. I guess Hondatec1 will confirm for us..
looks like he has an NSX tranny and a J32 to bolt it to. Waiting for results.

H22 heads work on F blocks.... interchangability is not only good for us who like to mix and match, but it is alot less expensive for honda to use comon parts...

I'm interested to see how this will pan out. Very interesting indeed.

Does this mean we would have 8000 RPM+ capability with NSX heads? Mwahaha.

8K would be nice, Vtec Intake and Exhaust, and a vast assortment of cams. Don't forget about the ITB's (hood clearance). Those heads are huge though. We'll see how it goes.

the heads are expensive too. I'd rather swap in some supertech valvetrain, hook up a vafc or aem change the rev limit and call it a day for a third of the price of a nsx head lol.

still bolt patterens of different heads and different trannies and bell housings would be nice to find out.

figuring out interchangeable parts is great.

I don't see it working unless they changed to j series in the nsx. Last time I checked the NSX was powered by a c32a. The C32a was a quad cam motor (dohc heads) unlike the j series which are all dual cams (sohc heads) so I don't see the head swaps working without modificatiom

bolt pattern is different on the heads.
