I cannot figure out which engine.

This might not be in the right spot of the forum, but I have been researching this swap for a while now. And honestly I do not know which engine I want to use. I am swapping a J into a 94 Del Sol, because I thought, I love my car but I want so much more out of it. Also everyone is doing hatches, I want to do a del sol. But anyway I want something Small and Potent that does not break the bank, any suggestions? I was thinking about the J30, but then I was thinking would I like more power? So then thinking the J32a2 but they are really expensive right now. So any help would be very useful.

I will probably ask one of my parts guys (once again honda dealer) how much he could find me a trans for, it doesn't matter to me about what from. Because if it is an accord one I could always get an LSD for it.
