hey whats going on.... so i have j32a use to be auto, so i switched to all 03 cl sensors.... i started a car once for 10sec shut it off, next day wont start.. no spark to coils.... 12v and grd are there.... running accord tranny with 03 tl motor, cl manual harness and cl manual ecu.... the only codes im getting is 1607 and vtec solenoid.... havent connected interlock, it ran, what happened any ideas?

the engine might have started . i have a good question . how did you get around not using a 03 CL type-s manual transmission and flywheel ? because with out that you are not to get the engine to rev up pass 2500 rpm.

im using 04 accord tranny and 03 cl flywheel, just dont have that second ckp.... so nobody have any ideas?

well i have to ask the stupid question . who built your harness for you engine? that person that built the harness is the one you should ask. you still going to have a problem . without the main crank sensor off the flywheel . the car will not rev over 2500 rpm .

That's going to be a problem. No CKP = no spark. CL-S clutch housing with CKP will be one requirement. :(

No CKP = no spark.

it should still start.
if i keep only 1 CKP behind crank pulley and get aem ems will that solve the prob or just get 04 accord manual ecu?

2 CKP behind crank pulley aem dont work with manual sensors.

i like how it says all over this forum that u can use accord tranny with no problems.... its been good waste of time and money

you can you the accord , tl , cl manual from 03 to early 07. now the engine on the other hand is a different story. if you are going to do the auto/manual swap you need to use a auto ecu or the aem ems with using the auto sensors. now if you have the full 03 cl type-s manual swap , it is all by itself. you can not mix and match part. the true manual swap has a 4 HAL pick-ups . three in the engine and one off the flywheel. the auto engine use 3 VR pick-up on the engine itself. i hope this clears up .

Are the 03 accord and cl trannys the same dimension? because i want to change the bellhousing to one that has the port for the crank position sensor on the flywheel.
