Not necessary... The reduced weight of the retainers/springs will also free up some more power as well. You don't have to have big cams, turbo, supercharger, or raised rev limiter to enjoy the benefits of this package. You’re going to see better valve response, less mass in the valvetrain, and some free horsepower to boot! Can't beat that...

How much less do these parts actually weigh compared to the stock ones?? Also have you installed them on your time attack car yet?? If so how big a difference did they make???

The bags are sealed. I just got them in yesterday, so no, they have not been installed on the car. I have another build that they will be going in along with our supercharger kit. This is going to be much later this year. We still have several more races this season that we need to stay in the same class for points. No changes can be made until then.
