need to know asap i have a j35 and wanna put some real umph in my j30 due to its tiny valves and way low compression.

Yes the heads are a direct bolt on(If your J30A1 is a coil on plug). I had J35A4 heads on my J30A1 and the car ran great with the added power. But to be honest, even with the head swap your not gonna be as powerful as a J32A2 motor, which is why I ditched my J30 and did a full type s swap. LMK if you got any more ?s.

Ditto, also ran 3.5 heads on my J30A1 with 4 speed auto.

Ran New CL-s cams in the heads along with a full pNp & 68mm T/B.
Tuned with a Unichip to a AFR of 13.0 because the Unichip could not lean out anymore.

yielded 203whp 169Tq.

with a FIC you could hit 210whp. with manual swap, even more.


Save the bread and go full J35 swap. The torque on the 3.5 is SO much better.
