I have a J35a4 with a 03 accord 6 speed trans. I also have the Hybird Racing Shifter. I would like to see any pics of where the dowel needs to sit so i can have reverse.
Also with the speed sensors working, the rpm wont go over 6000. Any help would be great.

not having reverse has nothing to do with the moving of the dowel . if you did not move the dowel you would be shifting backwards.
you car is rev's to 6000. you stock cam makes power till 5800. unless you put the 03 cl type-s manual cams in you car there is no need to rev that higher than 6000. if you were to put the cams that i said in , then you will make power till 6500.

once you put the cables in the right direction then you should have rev.

you using stock cables? If so, I was having the same problem. The left to right throw cable needed to be extended 5/8" on my j32 swap into an eg. Not sure if thats it, but try putting the car in nuetral, unbolting the cables from the hybrid box, and then see if the cable is "slack." It should line up perfectly if in nuetral, and if not then you'll have to extend the cable. Check my build thread.
