j32 lsd trans tear down.

okay got a j32 lsd trans but the clutch side case is busted, got a price for one at honda for like 350$ but i cant get the b*tch to come off, i have all of the bolt along the outside edges off and im spreading the snap ring under the black cap. buy if you put a little pressure on it, it budges but no take off. anyone know whats up with it?

Do you have every single bolt out of the tranny? Including the ones with the springs?

Just make sure all the right bolts are all the way out...if its anything like the b-series transmission its even more fun to get back together! lol

the only bolts i took out were on the surrounding edge of the clutch side case, and the 2 10mm bolts that hold the little black cap on to get to the snap ring.

Take EVERYTHING out

There is bolts that hold springs that hold balls too lol... everything needs to be removed for easy removal

i got it apart, thanks people! now to change the clutch side housings out 0.o
