does an auto j30a1 have a tcm?

idk much about some honda auto transmissions but i put an auto j30a in a eg hatch and its stuck in 4th gear, tested the shift lock solenoid and it clicks like it should. has park neutral and reverse. idk if it had a tcm or if it was in the ecu, i know the 90 modle accords had tcm's...

who did your wiring setup ? and did it happen on the first drive or when you REALLY got on it ?

i did all the wiring, i just transferred the accord harness into the civic, i ended up pulling the shift lock wire out of the loom all the way back to the ecu so i know it hooked up right, car is obd2 now and my code reader only 2 codes, one for immobilizer and one for the shift lock. i hooked a ground to the solenoid and touched the ends to my battery they click like they should? could it be the my shift cable isnt adjusted right? but it has reverse/park/neutral???? and no not first drive, not any drive haha. had this swap in and running for almost a month and still havent drove it on the road, just my driveway
