I have a buddy at work who keeps telling me that im wasting my time with my build and that he would win in a 40 mph roll, what do you guys think? Im just waiting on Don's harness and im ready to roll. Just wanted some thoughts and opinions, btw guy thinks he 370z is a ferrari lmao:rolleyes:

what ecu do you plan on running?

i stomped all over 350z's in my h22 coupe back in the day.

A 3300 pound car with 330 HP

VS

A 2200 pound car with 300 hp ( easy to reach with tune and I/H/E)

This is not even a close match with good driver...

Yes, you will spin , but rolling at 40MPH will let him behind right from the start...

Dont listen to the Nissan owner. Finish your build and prove him wrong. You have to think of the power to weight ratio. Your lighter and that does make a difference.

P.s. Make sure you race at a track or a place with NO TRAFFIC. Its not smart to go out there and think you hot shit racing on busy streets.

Did you run your buddy yet? If he's stock you should walk him. If he's modded it may actually be a close run. A couple of Z's with mods are running high 12s @107-109. They're no slouches, but far from the king of the road. He's definitely walking down the path of eating his own words telling you that you're wasting your time.

I ran my buddy in his 370z 6MT with I/E in my bolt on 06 Accord 6MT and he pulled about 2.5 cars from 10-100. I put down 255whp with my setup, currently looking for 265 with some changes in the next couple weeks.

dude not yet, i work for the union and in this business they can change your location of work anytime, so they change me and i havent had the chance but the guy is still down, here a vid at the track with true ram air lol:p
