First off, I must say I am happy to see a forum dedicated to the J-series, torque hungry honda fans. I am sure I will fit in here in quite well since my mindset is in the same place.

I have been a honda fan for quite some time, and worked on many different honda vehicles. Also, I have done many custom builds over the years for myself as well as friends.

Currently, my dd is an 05 Acura EL (aka the fancy civic) and my fun car is a 95 Del Sol VTEC. Over the last 8 years of owning my sol it has seen 7 different motor setups, and probably more transmission combinations. From different N/A builds to hybrid turbo setups netting me 12 sec 1/4's (it was a 12.9 but It's still a 12 and it was on streets!!!). But my two biggest problems where terrible torque curves, and fwd. I even destroyed a JRSC supercharger in an attempt to twin charge my fully build LS V. lol I do some stupid things sometimes. But for most part I love my sol.

Beyond my forced induction torque curve woes. I have actually owned a J32 and a 6spd tranny for some time now, for the intention of putting it in my sol. I just never had the time or cash flow to really play with it since I was getting married. This was well before HaSports kit, when I saw pinho's V6 eg coupe in a Toronto car show and got a semi.

When HaSport came out with their kit I purchased the first one to Canada, and tossed the J in my sol....and well, it doesn't fit...kinda but not really. Since my Sol is a VTEC model it has a 4channel ABS pump attached to the firewall, right where the rear bank header is suppose to go....

So in the meantime I attempting to put the setup in the trunk.

I will definitely keep this forum updated on my progress and I will start a thread hopefully at the end of the month when I finish the rolling chassis. I am calling this forum home for this project.

Cheers,

Jordan
