Hey guys, hope everybody is doing great
The car: 99 accord j30a1 (with distribuitor)
The tranny: acura cl-s 03 MT (on the floor)
the engine: here comes the question.
Kind of tired of the torqueless low rev engine... thats why Im looking for an engine swap. I've read a lot of threats and now I have an idea of what I need, but still have some questions maybe you can help me with.
I know about the parts that need to be changed to auto engine to match the manual trans, check on that! Engine mounts: check! Tranny: check! ECU and harness: not check!
Im getting a J35a4 form a 2004 odyssey, so I get the engine, ECU and harness. Manual Richie's harness.
1. How to fix the trasnponder issue with installing the new ECU and harness to my car?? Key won't start the car.
2. other scenario, will a J32a2 MT ECU and harness do a perfect match (engine sensors and stuff) to J35a4 engine and run it perfectly?
