The only way to purchase one of these is through JandRnextlevelperformance.com (best customer service I have received from any one in the car modifying industry hands down, Rodney went out of his way many times for me to help me meet my deadline.)

Here is the new clutch kit from JandRnextlevelperformance. I dont have much time now, just want to get the pictures up. I will edit later with a full review, and install tips.

The new clutch/flywheel design weighs almost half what the stock unit weighs.

I was in a bit of a rush to receive the clutch, as i have a IFO event in 2 days. So i had them ship it without the flywheel bolts. In ordered to use the new presure plate, I ended up using J32 flywheel bolts with a little washer on it. The j35 bolts are to long.

The motor is back in the car, but i have not blead the clutch and set the pedal stop yet. I will update on drivability, and wear a little later.

Why the hole in the transmission? Will all setups need to be setup like this or was that in the making of the clutch? I noticed there is 2 different flywheels in your group of pictures.

haha, i was going to address those questions when they arrise. You are the first person to ask, and i posted this on 3 big websites.

The first flywheel was the j32 flywheel just modified to fit the j35. The whole clutch assebly stuck out to far, so i tried to grind down the transmission to "make" it work, since IFO is in 2 days, i have to get it running. Well, i ground down, and went through like a hair think, When i tested to see if it would clear the clutch, it ripped the big hole. woops. I overnighted, the clutch back, they built a new flywheel, and overnighted it back to me, now its in. I should have it started in 2 or 3 hours.

Got the car running last night. The ring gear placement is perfect, it start just like it did with the factory flywheel and pressure plate, no grinding, no hanging up, no weird noises. I am still adjust the clutch pedal pressure output, so i dont over stroke the pressure plate. I have about 4 hours to work on the car still until i leave for IFO Houston. Once i drive it I will Come back and leave some feedback on pedal pressure feel, and engagment.

Just got done driving the car, and all i can say is OMG. This is everything i was looking for. Im making a few videos of the reving, it is much faster now, and the rpm's drop quick for shifting. The pedal pressure feels very nice, its a bit stronger than stock, but not has strong as a exedy hyper singel (nsx). Maybe just a tad more force requred than a act hdss. When this thing engages its no joke. I killed it three times trying to leave my driveway. It takes a minute to get used to, but once you have the feel its just like driving with any other clutch. There is a very fine like between engaged and not engaged, but you can control it with your leg/foot. while shifting into 3rd and 4th gear with the stock clutch, i used to have a small delay when the clutch was slipping or flexing from the dm flywheel, but with the unit, once you let it out, Its hooked. I whipped my head back a few times just letting it out to fast. More info, vids, and revies to come

Do you know the part number for the tilton discs? Yeah, twin disks are great, especially over the single disk clutches!

For the performance gains and ability to hold torque whichthese v6 pushes out I'd say it's a pretty good deal ,plus to lay down some good time slip this should be the fix ..

compared to what? The cost isnt much fore than the clutchmasters unit, an it will hold double the torque. The cost is about 3 times what a spec clutch runs, but the speck clutch doesnt come with a lightweight flywheel, and its just a factory pressure plate painted.

there is not a better clutch on the market right now, you gotta pay to play. This clutch is currently being used on the highest hp daily driven TL, its making 561 to the whels with almost 500ft/lbs of torque.
