Custom 2.5” Stainless Steel exhaust

Details:
Thanks to everyone for the support and complements on this swap. This has power steering and soon to have ac. The mounts are completely custom, with plenty of hood clearance and ground clearance unlike other mounts in EG’S. Placement of the engine is tight but leaves plenty of room for the a/c compressor or rear mounted turbo??? :D The engine angle is as close to 90 degrees with respect with the chassis as possible leaving a max CV axle angle at 10 degrees unlike 20+ degrees with other mounts in EG’s. The car runs and drives awesome with a deep V6 growl and shifting the 6 speed is ultra smooth. Last thing, im working on a speed pulse conversion to use the main speed shaft sensor as the speedometer. More pics and a video to follow!!

thanks for the positive feedback!!! sorry guys i will get updated pics and a video soon, i was so excited to get this running and driving i havent taken a second to take finished pics. ive been out beating on these mounts to find any weak points (poor tires ;))

oh yeah forgot to say we kept the stock EK rear cross member too... we made the mounts for ground and hood clearance, and retain all of the factory pieces(rear cross member) on the ek chassis.

Are these pics of the final engine location? Seems to be a little off to one side? May just be the angle of the camera. I would really like to see pic of the 6" ground clearance, almost seems impossible with the hood closed. If you made it work then great job man. keep up the work. In for more Pics.

What size rim are you running??

Now that you say that, it appears that the passenger side of the motor is sitting lower then the drivers side. Its not the picture, if you draw a line from the bolt on the headlight to the opposite headlight bolt, you can definately tell that it is slightly off.

yes you guys are right but those pics were taken right when the motor was bolted in the first time. the final change was a slight mod to the driver mount. but it sits level with respect of the motor now. we measured with a level without the intake manifold on the engine, and it sits true. with the manifold bolted on the engine the level shows that it isnt level anymore, which tells me that the manifold has a slight angle. keep in mind we made the front radiator support a "bolt in" for easy access for maintenance or repair. in those pics it was just thrown in there for a quick pic. sorry the weather sucks here and i promise to get finished pics soon!

Nice swap! I would like to take a joy ride in that monster. How does it handle? the front end must feel really heavy now. But the best part is you dont have to worry about traction for drag. should be a lot better and light the tires up real good! great job bro! i would love to see more picts and a video.

Props on the ride.

How do you plan to keep AC? Which Condensor are you using and where are you locating it? Would this work with the HAsport mounts? Any plans for a production of PS and AC lines?
