damn looks good!
have you dyno'd it yet?
hondaboy4life
07-31-2009, 01:33 AM
Nope. Currently has a temp sensor code which is def. killing my power outage it seems. I did race a k20z3 in an ek with full bolt ons and he only pulled ever so slightly on me... Hopefully fixing that code will bring back the power i feel i am lacking. Then after that there will be dyno time.

Looks like we'll need to start a "white j swapped teg" section on here, because that will make 3 of us once mine is done. All i'm waiting on is mounts, axles, and shift cables.

I love what you've done with this Integra.
I'm working on dropping my J32A3 into my '96 Teg as we speak.
2 Questions:
1. What's the stuff you've used to clean up the edge of your hood? (You stole my idea and I havn't even told anyone!)
2. What upper and lower rad hoses did you use?
hondaboy4life
08-14-2009, 12:39 PM
1. the door trim out of an eg/dc :)
2. '98 single cam accord upper, b series (b16/ls/type r) lower and i have an alum. raditor so i had the lower rad. neck switched to the other side of the radiator. You don't need to do this but i did so i didnt have starter/hose clearance issues but u can weasel it around the starter if you dont have a alum. radiatior/access to fabrication. Once i get a chance i'll try to post up some build pics in the build section.

It looks amazing, good job. The only thing that I am worried about is someone putting something in my oil because the filler is exposed.

mine is too but with the plastic on the valve cover and my aftermarket oil cap they cant get the cap off without taking the plastic cover off which they cant do without me noticing and they would need to pop the hood.

Ahh sweet, thanks for that tid bit. Im glad my friend (his brother was sponsored by Greddy) so he gave me a free Greddy oil cap, and it looks to be the same size as the one on your a2. The only problem is it is blue and my car is red.
Straight gangster!
I finally drove mine today after 2 months of sitting :P

I talked to a honda tech this weekend and he said in '03 a lot of honda/acuras had random ecu issues where stuff just wouldnt work like vtec etc... but who knows i guess we'll wait to hear from don... what ecu are you running?
acidbath124
09-14-2009, 05:11 AM
i think im using the 03 auto cl type s ecu but it may be one of the other years i dont remember.i changed a few things and i can tell a big difference but i dont think the vtec is working although i havent had a chance to run the codes since i made the changes but i should in the next couple of days

Are you guys getting a seperate vtec code?? Mine works but you can't hear the crossover like a D, B, or K . Only time it was audible was outside the car on a hard pull down track.
hondaboy4life
09-14-2009, 05:43 PM
I am not getting a vtec code... I dont hear, or feel anything vtec related. i also put my car on a dyno. The dyno was off and not reading right but there was still no vtec "hump" in the graph...
the crossover should be very audible...I can hear it pretty good with my stock MDX

Awsome teg man! 2 questions: 1 why is ur shifter so tall is there any way to have it shorter? And were did u get ur racing cables?
hondaboy4life
10-06-2009, 05:29 AM
I made a second piece that extends the shifter/screw on top of the original shifter. The hybrid racing box is adjustable so you can make it longer or shorter. Mine was extra long but i now have it removed. I got the racing cables from Hybrid-racing.
