im in the process of building a j32a2 (02 auto tl with 06 accord tranny) i am trying to upgrade my little 98 ek coupe as much as possible while maintaining all oem parts... at least as many as possible... i want to do the five lug conversion to be a little different than most... i was looking at running ap2 s2000 wheels and doing the 05 rl brake upgrade with the 12.6 rotors... i know i will need upgraded braking with double the displacement under my hood.... and currently i have a 98 ex five speed... its all stock as far as performance goes. i was hoping someone could give me some guidance on how to do this massive upgrade or at least run legend rotors and calipers (dual pistons)... can i order the usdm itr hubs? im running 32mm hasport axles and cant afford to upgrade to 36mm at this time so im pretty sure usdm itr hubs will fit the 32mm (correct me if im wrong please) thanks everyone for their help ...

USDM ITR and JDM CTR 5 lug is 32mm. JDM ITR 5 lug is 36mm.
You can use one factory CL-S axle, and the other use the CL-S inner/outters on a integra shaft, and you will be set with 36mm. Switching hubs and that seems to be making it much more complicated than it is.

i appreciate the help and the information but my budget wont really allow me to buy these extra axles and what not.... i would like to try and do the five lug converstion and keep my 32mm axles... hasport guarantees them to stand up to 450ish hp... and they are quite expensive already... now if i use the usdm itr or jdm ctr hubs and do the rest like this guy it could be entirely possible right... i asked him on several different threads but not reply and and answer back from p.m. either
this is a copy from jdm beast off of hondatech.com
USDM ITR HUBS (32MM HUBS) AND CTR, 4-LUG INTEGRA OR CIVIC BEARINGS
OR CR-V, PRELUDE HUBS (36MM HUBS) AND CR-V OR PRELUDE BEARINGS(GREAT FOR JDM ITR SWAPS)
23T CALIPER BRACKETS FOUND IN ITR, PRELUDES H22 92-01, ACCORD WAGONS, CR-V, ACURA LEGEND.
CALIPERS FROM ITR, CR-V, PRELUDE H22 92-01 (THEY ARE ALL THE SMAE CALIPER) OR ACURA LEGEND (DUAL PISTON CALIPERS)
ROTORS FROM ITR, CR-V, PRELUDE H22 97-01.
with all this said and done being a 5x114.3 end result... running a 17 inch wheel... couldnt i still do the 05 rl brake disc and caliper conversion? or at least the legend dual pistons up front? what would be some good oem 17's to run... i was thinking s2000 or new civic wheels

Not trying to be critical, but if you are trying to do 5lug, and not in a position to buy new axles. ($200 max) is it really a good idea?
I think we can all agree when you start working on cars, shit always goes wrong, and very little goes as planned.
I am not sure how people are running the RL brakes.. Legends are a bolt on upgrade though.

legends run a 10.8 rotor correct? and dual piston calipers... and the axles im running are almost 800 dollars... im doing a quality build.. im in the middle of getting the motor torn down to hot tank it and start wiht fresh liquids and all that goodness... thats why i cant just go and buy another set of axles... im doing a hybrid build and have plans for boost in the near future if everything does somewhat decent (not perfect but decent with minor hiccups)... but my main questions are
1. if i run usdm itr hubs or jdm ctr hubs... what bearings can i run... oem ex civic bearings or do i needs cr-v bearings?
2. if i can find a way to run those massive calipers and rotor from a new rl how big does my MC and booster need to be with what size lines
3. if i decide on doing the legend upgrade... what size MC, booster, lines will i need...
as i have mentioned im trying to make a badass car with as many oem parts as possible! i love oem quality and reliability andi havent seen an oem badass in a long time! the bigger the better i think... thanks again RXMmitch for all your help but i will need alot more lol... and no offense taken....
ok... so what exactly does it mean by 32mm axles and 36mm axles... does this pertain to the size nut you need or the spline count and what is the big difference anyways?

If you use ITR or CTR hubs seems to me like you should just use ITR or CTR bearings then...
2. if i can find a way to run those massive calipers and rotor from a new rl how big does my MC and booster need to be with what size lines
1" MC is always good.. standard 3/16" brake line works...
3. if i decide on doing the legend upgrade... what size MC, booster, lines will i need...
1" MC, ITR booster, 3/16" brake line or -3AN stainless braided hose

I would get rid of those $800 axles. Unless this is a 600+ HP drag car, you would be fine with an OEM combo. IMO.
I like to think of axles as a forgiving aspect of racing. Until you find the day where you can't race because your axles keep breaking, then it is time to upgrade. But otherwise, I would rock a set of $100 autozone axles with a lifetime warranty, and let them break every once in a while before your transmission does.
It is easier and cheaper to replace axles, than it is to replace clutches and transmissions.

i see your point and a good one it is... but what exactly is different between a 32mm and a 36mm axles... i havent seen any clear definition of distinction betweent the two and i dont want to assume anything... thanks again...
i can get a 1 inch MC from the integra gsr and it should bolt right on to my booster right?
and whats a good company to get the brake lines through?

The difference is the splined part of the axle that bolts into the hub.. the 36mm is noticeably larger. 36mm axles also use 36mm axle nuts, compared to 32mm factory ones.
Yeah, just have to match the booster to the MC. I believe 4dr integras have the same exact setup as ITRs.
I get most of my stuff from summit racing as far as fittings and line goes.

ok awesome... MC and booster from integra and find someway to get my hands on a decent set of 36mm for my j32a2... then im set... and do the classic five lug and make life simple... are there any good links for a picture breakdown of the whole suspension front end assembly so i will know exactly what im looking to buy? ive got a good idea but even as a jet engine mech... pictures are pretty lol...
and what year legend is it that has the 11.8 inch rotors anyway with the dual piston calipers?
how hard is it to get ahold of a set of front ap2 s2000 wheels?
