So I NEED these parts to get up and running. But besides the ECU, are there alternatives or other parts I can use instead? I heard that a newer D series throttle body bolts to the J series and that it uses a D series IACV? True? Can I use a MAP from the D series? Can I fab up a D series air temp somehow? Does it use the same signal?
I have the engine harness that came with the motor. (J32A3) I'd like to know what I can use that I already have. I don't mind piecing a harness together from odds and ends. Wiring is my specialty. I just need to know what plugs to use. Help me out!!
37830-P8E-S00 SENSOR SET, MAP
16400-PGE-A12 BODY ASSY
16022-P8A-A03 VALVE SET, ROTARY AIR CONTROL
32110-PGE-A11 WIRE HARNESS, ENGINE
37880-P0A-A02 SENSOR ASSY., AIR TEMPERATURE
37820-PGE-A12 CONTROL MODULE, ENGINE
Total: $1418.20
There's no way I'm paying that much for new parts. The most expensive one is the ECU at $689.57 I'm going to search the junk yards for that one.
