What is your take on the rought idles on the j swap? Please give us your take on the problems. My take is because people is unable to get the fluids into the tb. to fix problem, raise the radiator above the tb and let the water pump start pumping before you lower the radiator. it wouldn;t hurt if you take the sensor out to clean it with wd40.

Don't for get most of the swaps are not running PS or AC that the computer is looking for.
The IACV (RACV) is adjustable. Remove the tamper proof screws on the side of the IACV . replace with nontamper proof ones. Twist the middle portion of the valve until the desired idle is meet.
Worked for me. Maybe this will help you guys out.

Im actually PMing woly about my idle woes.
I have an 03 CL-S6. I swapped the intake manifold out for an 09 3.7 TL manifold. It ran perfectly for about 200 miles, then the idle problems began. First the idle was high (1200-1500rpms). Then after I swapped the IACV for a brand new one, the idle began to fluctuate wildly between 1k and 2k rpms. I reverted everything back to stock and still had the same issue. I replaced all gaskets the coincided with the intake manifold swap. Now after I reset the ECU the car will idle perfectly upon start up. Then as soon as you apply load to the motor (turn the steering wheel or tap the gas), the idle will begin to fluctuate again. Right now I have the TL manifold back on the car. I was getting a CEL which was P0505. I exchanged the IACV at Honda this afternoon and put it in tonight. The CEL went away but the idle issues did not. Anyone know of anything?
Woly has been a huge help through all of this and I thank him very much.
