What is going on? I am a 16 year Honda Tech. I currently am installing a J32A2 in my EG hatch for road racing. I work 6 days a week and play on my days off. I have driven (HPDE) on VIR (Virgina International Raceway) and CMP (Carolina Motorsports Park) several times and found lateral G's to be more fun than a blast down the 1/4 mile. SCCA member Since 1996 and NASA member since 2003. Currently working on my Instructor's license.
and I still spell like a four year old.
Over the years I can safely say the J series is one of the most reliable long blocks on the market. Whether its a 3.0 or the new 3.7, all of them are hard to break. I did the 3rd T- belt on a customers J30 last week (300k miles) and the cam seal were original and still not leaking.
Looking forward to driving my pig soon and seeing what breaks first :).

I'd love to check out your setup at some point and i'm sure i could use your experience when i get going on mine. I would be down to head to some local hpde events as well if you are.

I was in socal a few weeks ago and was at the compton street races. Met a guy they call "wicked" that's part of sonic racing or something like that? He showed a very strong interest in a J swap and it seemed like he was going to look into doing one soon...

yes, those are indeed Miata wheels. We had to mill out the center bore to fit the civic hub.. super light weight. Off-sets are similar.
I will post up the links to my brother running Dover this weekend.
