automatic ecu 2003 cl type-s
question:

you need a base model ecu instead of the type s ecu

thanks for the quick replay much appreciated..
so base model, and then plug and play, or something else ?
and also can u please enlighten me why it will work on type-s not base model..?
how about the performance does it have a difference from s and base ?
from what year and car can i have this ecu ?
thanks a lot

You should def. get the auto ecu. also if you dont have one get a vafc so you can adjust the vtec point. its 2 high where is at on the stock ecu.

yup sadly im using auto ecu from 2003 cl-type-s
this is great news for me , now i can have vtec back finally, now i have to find base tl auto ecu...
and correct me if im wrong my car will rev past 5000 rpm :)
thanks a lot cuz im saving for aem ecu now i dont have to...
hmm.. i have one more problem though the transponder chip...
but i read somewhere on this site that u can remove the chip from the ecu to be able to start your car..thanks RPM
thanks again

Yeah u will rev past 5k....if u contact don at rpm systems he can sell u the ecu u need and take care of ur transponder code to his number is under the vendor section..call him he is real busy so he can't always get back to u right away on the forum...busy saving the world one J-swap at a time
